I am an Adobe Certified Expert working extensively with digital imaging, Lightroom, Photoshop and digital printing. I have been involved in teaching Photography for over 20 years and became a full-time professional photographer in 2016.  I provide training in photography, digital post processing and printing to groups and individuals in the UK and abroad. I also provide these services for some of the most well-known photo tour companies and Photographers, as I write this, 17 years with Light & Land, 7 years with Rachael Talibart, 7 years with Paul Sanders, 4 years with Dawn2Dusk.

Printing is a real passion for me. I create thousands of prints per year and I’m always experimenting! The majority of my workshops include printing in some form. I live and work in Bideford, North Devon with my wife Clea who teaches individuals and groups how to make handmade books and photo books.

Early on, I had much success in photography competitions, especially in Black & White and modern architecture. In 2016 one of my Black & White images was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, selling out its edition. This success literally changed my life and led me to give up my day job and focus on Photography. During Lock-down I fully embraced Zoom, I continue to run on-line group and individual training sessions on a wide range of photographic subjects.

I love Black & White and Infrared photography and in my personal work, I love to make dark, high contrast Black & White images. The rugged North Devon coast is the perfect place for me to experiment and explore using the mediums of photography and printing.
